In COVID times, Royal Dry Cleaners only accept cash not contactless and were not prepared to share details for a bank transfer. I needed to do a round trip of 50 miles to get cash. Then a man overhearing my attempt to get cash on Apple Pay in the Herne Bay Coop, gave me 31 cash. Unbelievable kindness and trust. He wouldnt accept goods or a bank transfer either. Thank you bearded stranger. Bless your kindness. Royal Dry Cleaners 31 for 1 suit and 5 shirts is nearly double the price I pay in London.

AVOID. I took a barely worn, expensive coat here to be dry cleaned. Upon collection I noticed that there were several white patches where the colour of the fabric had been taken out and the (once black) zips were now half silver. I pointed these out and the owner argued with me, telling me that once she puts the item in the cleaning machine, she has no control over what happens in there - completely ignorant to the idea that any item left with her is her responsibility. She then asked me if I knew how expensive it is to run her machine?? Irrelevant?? She told me that shes been doing this 35 years and Im the first customer to complain (unlikely). I explained that the coat was barely worn when I dropped it off, to which she told me that she doubts that because I had dropped it off in that state. She still asked me to pay the 15 despite ruining a very expensive coat. Which I did because Im not going to argue with an elderly lady all afternoon. Awful cleaning service but even worse customer service! Still cant believe it!! Service: Special care fabric cleaning

I would not go anywhere else but the Royal Dry Cleaners. Lovely lady to serve you, always cheerful and prices are reasonable. Most important of all the cleaning is excellent and you can get expert repairs done there.
