I am in the same position I paid by BACS 840 pounds - they came out and checked only one hole for footings and I have written email to head office and nothing - I heard one of the inspectors resigned 3 days before the letters were sent out. Disgusting - I am writing to Money box & Martin Lewis about this. I cannot afford to literally throw money away - 840 to check one hole & that may have to all be checked again - don't touch these people - at first they said they's get another insurance company - but looks that nobody wants to touch them with a barge pole !

Tried for days to contact them, not once have they answered the phone, and are now unable to issue the completion certificate for my extension.

AVOID Due to their operational issues Aedis are now unable to complete their side of our contract and our building inspector has left the company so we no longer have a direct contact. We are getting zero response to emails from anyone at Aedis and their phone line goes unanswered and mailboxes are full. The very least Aedis could do is help existing customers that they have let down by providing the construction notes (that we have all paid for!!) so that they can be passed on to the council.
