        Just sitting here eating the French burger with brie, had to stop and write this review about it... that's how good it is My friend ordered the chicken and prawns... which also looks delectable proper chef, proper service, a little gem in herne bay

        Absolutely delightful restaurant! We came here after a long day at the beach & the staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming to both us and our dog. We had the soup of the day & the roast - both perfect & exactly what we needed! Our dog was also spoilt with some roast scraps. Id recommend this restaurant for anyone who finds themselves in Herne Bay :) Vegetarian options: The meat-free roast was still excellent value for money & the cauliflower cheese made it!

        Sunday lunch here,cold and windy outside but lovely and warm inside. Had the carvery,I had the beef as the joint in front of me was so tempting,alas I had the scrag ends of the previous joint,the gentleman had difficulty cutting it,I stood no chance which was a shame as everything else was fine, except for the condensation running down the window in the alcove onto our coats below!!! We did enjoy ourselves and would quite happily go back again.
