Lovely pub with dreadful service and bar staff that have attitude Prices have increased but the quality of the pint has decreased. Not sure what we were drinking yesterday but it definitely wasn't cider. Tom I'm adding to my review as I am unable to attach a reply to your message. I appreciate you reading my review and taking the time to reply and I can see you are very keen on your facts! Unfortunately your CCTV or body cam footage have not supplied you with the correct facts and neither have your two senior bar persons. It was in fact Strongbow that we purchased and the fact is it didn't taste of the said product. My partner did query if the right drink had been poured and the bar person assured us it was also we queried maybe a wrong barrel had been connected by mistake which he replied No. We then wondered if it was the new Inches Cider which we and our friends had never tasted but when we all tasted the Strongbow thought it maybe that but he was adamant it was not that. We were offered a tumbler with a small amount of Inches in and it was quickly decided it was not that. We were then given another tumbler with a small amount of the product we had purchased and yes it definitely was that.!! The facts are we were not offered a replacement Strongbow and definitely not two as stated by you. We were not even offered clean glasses to change the cider into which had happened the week previous to someone else (not that for one minute it would have made it taste any better). The fact is we purchased two pints of Strongbow only drank half because we couldn't stomach anymore and vacated your premises without any fuss. I don't dispute your facts about your cider being the cheapest ( Weatherspoons no longer sell Strongbow) and neither the amount you sold over the weekend. I do dispute the way we were treated and I'm not sure my original review was slanderous or ridiculous people deserve the truth. In future I will be more thorough when wording my reviews.
