My mum is receiving palliative care here and the entire staff of carers and nurses have been outstanding. They have treated mum with utmost respect, care and kindness. They've gone out of their way to ensure mum keeps her dignity to the very last. I'm so very grateful for the incredible service being provided.

Rude staff speaking Indian in front of residents. The cleaner doesnt clean just talks staff on their phones. My mother has been in hospital due to pressure damage from this home and lost weight due to staff not feeding her

I think, hope, this home is OK, but how do you know due to lockdown.? My bug bear is on the weekend especially, I can never speak to her, (my lovely mum) do they only have one phone? I understand they maybe short of staff, but really? My advice is don't put your loved one in a home, in lockdown, mum is still alive, still a person, but I her eldest son can't really contact her.. Heartbreaking.

What a awful place my mother in law was unfortunately put into this home from hell.Due to falling at home and injured her hip she was transferred from Ross community hospital where she was doing fine but they needed the space. After going to holmer manor she went rapidly downhill she is able to use the toilet with assistance but they wouldnt help her and just put her in a nappy with the side railings on the bed pulled up very degrading a lot of the patients in there have dementia and wonder round one man constantly went into her room which was very distressing for her when approached about this the management claimed to know nothing about it but next time my wife visited there was a gate across the door your kept waiting to go in for upto 30 minutes they have a nerve calling it a care home what a horrendous place its like they dont want you to get better and leave probably something to do with the price they charge in my opinion it needs investigation as standards are very disturbing
