Changed hands a few months ago and is now called Polly's at No 10. A charming and friendly caf/restaurant. There are only a handful of tables downstairs, although it has now has one on the outside too. There is an upstairs, but I don't know what's up there - it could just be a WC. Portion sizes are huge - I had a beautiful quiche, but it came with an equally beautiful salad, but unfortunately I couldn't eat it all because it was so large and I hate wasting food. Polly herself is friendly and chatty. She offers a 'buy it forward' option, where you can overpay your bill and the excess pays for a homeless person to have a coffee, etc. It's a popular scheme on both sides, and they even buy in a particular brand of dog food for homeless dogs, which is nice. Vegan-friendly options.
