The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House

My husband and I got married last weekend 22nd April 2023. The day was more than we ever imagined! We cannot thank Lou and Colin enough. They were there to help throughout the process, from answering queries over email to meeting up at the venue to discuss ideas. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the woodland was a bonus and made for beautiful photo opportunities. They also have a list of approved suppliers which was really useful and made choosing less stressful. I would recommend them to any couple looking for a rustic barn venue. Well how do I start! Lou and Colin are the most wonderful people who made my Sister's and Kieran's Wedding absolutely perfect. The venue was absolutely stunning in and out with the most amazing views of the forest and fields surrounding. The whole day was perfect, Lou and Colin couldn't do more, so kind friendly and just overall awesome. Thank you so much again for making it the most perfect for for my Sister

My husband and I would like to start with a massive thank you to Colin and Lou - we first booked The Old Milking Parlour at Cavokay House way back in January 2019, they stuck by us through all the ever changing covid rules and we finally got the day we had always dreamed of in May 2022. This wedding venue is a real hidden gem in the heart of the countryside, its rustic, romantic and best of all - you can decorate it how you want it! C&L have a recommended suppliers list which is extremely helpful, as searching for suppliers can be daunting. Colin and Lou provide some exceptional props that you can add to your day, without any additional cost. This was a real perk for us and not something you find often with wedding venues. Our wedding day ran perfectly and really was the best day ever. The only downside I want to do it all again! Thank you both for giving us the best day of our lives, one we will never forget.

We cannot say enough good things about Colin and Lou. We spent ages looking for the perfect place to hold our wedding reception and were recommended The Old Milking Parlour and we knew just by looking at the photos it was the one. What made us even more sure was how amazing Colin and Lou were. They are the most kind and helpful people to have when planning a wedding. We booked with them in late 2019 and when Covid hit, they were amazing at checking in with us and gave us amazing advice when we made the hard decision to postpone. They were the most accommodating place by having so many beautiful props and decor for you to use, including the most wonderful cake swing. They also have a preferred suppliers list which helped us feel much more at ease booking people as we know they were trustworthy. The star of the show is the incredible grounds they have available. The most beautiful woodland which included a magical door which is just amazing for photos. Colin and Lou went above and beyond to help make our day the most perfect one we had dreamed of and we will never be able to thank them enough. They truly are amazing.
