        I had bereavement counselling for a particularly traumatic experience and was treated with compassion and care. I was carefully assessed to match me with the correct counsellor and received expert advice for navigating grief. I would recommend this service unhesitatingly.

        Riverside is a wonderful local counselling charity. The initial consultation was thorough and I was matched with i highly qualified counsellor. My progress and journey, although sometimes difficult, is changing my life in the most positive way. I would highly recommend Riverside to everyone.

      • Enigmatic Soul

        I went to Riverside counselling and was introduced to yoga and meditation almost instantly as a way to help with mindfulness and anxiety. I felt like this was a massive deception as yoga and meditation are part of a Hindu spiritual practice. I went to Riverside counselling to talk about my problems But ended up getting introduced to spiritual practices. At times it felt like I was in a Hindu temple not a therapy session. I'm giving a one star rating because it is deceiving to leave people into a spiritual practice, People that attend Riverside counselling Need to know that yoga and meditation and not a form of mindfulness they are a spiritual practice.
