Hengrave Hall

Was a guest at Hengrave Hall recently for a wedding and all I can say is wow! Absolutely amazing venue. On arrival you are helped with your bags to your room if you are lucky enough to stay there. The church service was very good and is only a short distance from the main building. The staff went above and beyond all day and I couldnt fault them at all. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks were constantly topped up. When assistance was required for an elderly guest it was given. I would highly recommend Hengrave for functions. The accommodation was nice with very comfy beds. The views both of the house itself and also from the house were amazing. The food was excellent and it was all cooked to perfection. My one and only criticism was that we had to check out at 9.15am. I assume they possibly had another function booked in and so you check out of your rooms at 9.15 and go to a dining area for breakfast. I just felt it was a shame that after having had a long, tiring day on the day of the wedding and an obviously late night that checking out so early wasn't ideal. I do have to praise the staff once more. I genuinely couldnt fault the service over the whole stay as they seem to have a very good team in place.

We got married at Hengrave Hall on 15th April 2023, and everything was perfection from start to finish. They have a lot of weddings here but they always make you feel really special from the day you choose the venue. The venue itself is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places I've ever been both inside and out, and we loved the fact there was a chapel on site so we could still have a church wedding. The team made sure everything ran smoothly and never took trouble with the dozens of emails and phone calls we made in the run-up! Even in mid Spring, there were lots of beautiful flowers out and we got some stunning pictures in the grounds and in the incredible bridal suite. A particularly shout out must go to Jennie who is just an amazing co-ordinator and made sure the day itself was seamless. She even sorted out my husband's hair and tie on the morning!! I wouldn't hestitate to get married here - you will have the best day of your life!
