Nice collection of plants, especially Frank Matthews selection. But prices are ridiculous. Ed, thanks for your prompt response. To give you some examples, one can buy Frank Matthews Albizia, Liquidambar Worplesdon, Hoheria at least 20 cheaper at South Downs Nurseries which no one will claim is an inexpensive place. Other examples are Syringa, Acer, Cornus which I have sourced up to 20% cheaper without any discount. I have bought Styrax cheaper too as you are selling the 7L plants for what I would pay for 12L plants.

I was very disappointed with the cafe at Garden Sage Henfield. The coffee was so strong, I couldn't drink it even after more milk was added. The scone was warmed up and consequently stodgy and falling apart, impossible to spread rock hard butter on. Food and drink served in cardboard and cutlery made of wood. I found the whole experience miserable and uncomfortable and definitely won't return.

This is one of the best nurseries I have ever visited. The range of both indoor and outdoor plants is excellent and the knowledge of the staff and owners is fantastic and is invaluable to any aspiring gardener. If you need any advice about your garden or indoor plants I highly recommend that you go and see the team at Garden Sage. They are also extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommended. Thank you.
