Each Sunday Corpus Christi parish welcomes townsfolk to homemade soup and a warm space .. this is part of a town-wide project to help soften the cost of living pressures. I've enjoyed two visits and found the soup-making skills of the host teams amazing.. I learnt how salsa garnish can add zest to butternut squash soup and how useful a nutmeg grinder can be - I immediately got one. At the book-exchange I got a fabulous translation of Eckerman's chats with Goethe.. I played table tennis on a competition grade table wow..there's scrabble to watch out for..and great conversation. A big thank you to the parish for all the effort this initiative needs and for the accessible pleasant setting in our town Henfield.

I am shocked at the way this hall is run. They are happy to take your money for bookings and then over rule these bookings for church meetings or double bookings, without providing a refund. Please consider carefully whether you want to use this hall, especially for regular bookings.
