The workmanship is second to none. They gave me a demo of how to safely use the stove too. All for a competitive price. Thank you again

Ecotech did an absolutely amazing job with my stove. From the outset the communication was spot on, and this remained consistent until the job was completed. Everyone was very polite, respectful, and the workmanship was second to none. If you're thinking about getting a stove I would highly recommend Ecotech Stoves for the job. 5 stars.

I cannot rate this company high enough. The whole experience dealing with ecotechstoves has been flawless from start to finish with Sophie being in constant contact throughout the booking in process to Wayne and team turning up bang on time and cracking on with the job in hand. I am super happy with the log burner install and thankful i found this company as they are truly an amazing company. Thank you.

I was impressed with the job that Wayne and his direct Ecotech team did to install the stove. They work very efficiently. Also, the communication with Sophie from start to finish was fantastic! The only issue I had was with the external gas contractor who Ecotech used on the day (I think arranged through MyBuilder) to adjust the capping from the previous gas fireplace that the woodburner was replacing. I had already had this safely capped off before but it understandably needed taking back further when the woodburner was installed. This gas contractor told me that the remaining gas pipework was not safe and needed to be capped off at the meter. He then suggested that his team could come back and reroute the remaining gas pipe to the gas boiler for a price that was clearly overpriced. I was obviously suspicious, especially since a different gas safe registered engineer had been around just a few weeks earlier and done the same checks. I also found the latest regulations online and saw info that contradicted what he told me. After showing this, he quickly became quite defensive so I decided to just leave the gas capped off at the meter and let him leave. After the stove was fitted, I arranged for another gas safe registered engineer to test the system again (no issues) and they safely reinstated the remaining gas. This left me out of pocket by an extra 100 and with no central heating for 2 weeks while I waited for an engineer I could trust to visit. I would suggest other customers use an existing trusted gas engineer on the day if this is possible, or check who Ecotech will use for any gas work. A bonus in the future would be if Ecotech could have their own gas safe registered person on their great team, rather than relying on different external contractors. That said, I am very happy with the stove itself, so only knocked 1 star off the review for the gas work, which I saw as a small part of the overall job.
