Walking into Hodroyd Hall, you literally gasp at the stunning interior. Beautifully appointed with period furniture, paintings, and ornaments, you feel really privileged to be able to spend time in this Manor House. The kitchen is so well equipped that youre not having to constantly fill the dishwasher, and if you want to cook, there is everything you might need. As for sleeping, the bedding is extremely comfortable and cosy. With plenty of space both indoors and outdoors the library, the sitting room, and the dining room, as well as the orangery as a group, we could all be together or find space to chill out quietly on our own. We stayed in the winter, but really look forward to going back in the summer, especially as there are so many wonderful outdoor spaces to visit. Thank you Stephen for all your hospitality

What an amazing and atmospheric place this is! From the outside its the epitome of a manor house and on walking through the front doors, it certainly doesnt disappoint. I was blown away by the spacious hall with its grand staircase and intricate details throughout each room. On our initial exploration of Hodroyd, as each new door opened, all you could hear from our group were the oohs and ahhs and wows! My en-suite bedroom, known as the Bridal Suite, was enormous and luxurious, as was the oh so comfy bed and bedding. At least for a few days, we all felt like we were Lords of the manor and would certainly recommend this venue for a stay with a difference.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hodroyd Hall which is a magnificent 17th Century Country Manor. I was impressed by the interior which was decorated with period furniture, paintings & decorative items that transported me back in time. It was a true delight to explore each and every room including the Cromwell bedroom. The Library was the perfect place to sit back and relax with a good book, or simply admire the elegant dcor. The Dining room was a wonderful place to enjoy a meal or simply soak up the serene atmosphere & the Kitchen was large & had every item you could want including a hand mixer. The orangery was another highlight. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with soft plush beds and elegant furnishings. It was a true oasis of peace and comfort after a long day of walking & exploring the area which included visiting the Sculpture Park nearby. One of the most memorable experiences was the murder mystery evening. It was a fun and interactive way to experience the manor with good friends. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Overall, I was completely enchanted by this magnificent house and would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you're interested in the history and culture or simply looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway, this is the place. Thank you so much Stephen, hope to see you soon.
