    Given that you've blocked my Facebook account for posting the following on your page, I have made a new account, so that I can re-post what I wrote, and will continue to do so until my partner has received a full refund. Your Customer service is appalling, and you don't get to keep my 150 then block me, just because you're incapable of answering phone calls or replying to messages. I assure you, I will keep making as many Facebook accounts as I need to, until my partner receives a full reimbursement!!! I've called you over 60 times in the last week, to amend a booking. The phone has only been answered 4 times. My message was supposed to be passed on to someone who would call me back ..........I haven't heard from anyone in 6 days. if I don't get a call back, Tonight, I'll post the screenshots to prove that I have made over 60 calls to you, and that both mine and my partners messages have been read, then ignored. I strongly advise that no one books with you, because you're proving to be unbelievably unprofessional, and bordering on taking the biggest of liberties. If you need bank details, check your messages which you read 3 days ago, sent by me, Gaz Ellis, and I will gladly provide you with them. I will also find any pages I can related to your venue, and post my grievances, until I have received a full reimbursement. Update 03/05/23 my only way if contacting them is through a second Facebook account I had to make, in order to be able to message them. Who ever is responding to my replies is literally laughing at my messages, and refusing to acknowledge my request for a refund. I will be speaking to a solicitor about the matter. It's not about the money, it's the principle. These people are astoundingly rude and arrogant.

    We had lunch on Sunday and to be fair the beef was beautiful Yorkshire puds were raw on the bottom and cold. Not a lot of veg varieties peas and green beans mixed, carrots over cooked and tasteless, cauliflower, sloppy mash and roasts looked deep fried 12.95 sorry not good. The staff apart from the chef looked about 15. Table's aren't set out for you to be seated. The table had a number card and salt and pepper pot, knife and forks wrapped in a paper napkin like a road side cafe, tablecloths oversized square on round tables, dirty and not ironed, to big and a trip hazzard. We wasn't asked if we wanted starters. This place could be a goldmine. Be seriously needs taking in hand. Asked to see Jonathan to be told oh he is upstairs he doesn't come down and deal with customers. Absolutely appalling.

    Please do not book here. You will be disappointed and honestly I have never posted a bad review about anywhere before but I feel that strongly about our experience. It was so bad but I will try to keep it brief. I would of given no star's if I could. So arrived and we had been double booked as communication was so poor once we had paid I was really un confident that we would be given a refund if we just left. To be fair they offered us the family room and said we can book in for hot tub stay on an another date. They offered us drink vouchers for our stay to say sorry we politely declined as we felt they were doing enough putting us in the family room and saying that we could return for original booking however things became worse. The room... Springs in mattress awful pillows terrible. No blinds so people walking past to their rooms with hot tubs could see in curtains needed to remain closed at all times The private hot tubs are NOT private so if the curtains were open at our patio doors we could touch the hot in next doors room Our door didn't shut properly so the music from the hot tub and talking could be clearly heard We had our cold Evening meal microwaved pasta and chicken balls and chips I could of made a better meal at home puddings were nice though. Our trolley was left out all night for the goats and geese to pick at. At this point I thought I will have a nice bath. The plug didn't keep all the water it so it trickled away slowly no hot water in the bath but I filled it up anyway and checked the jets they did not work i told the man and daughter when breakfast was delievered and the reply i got was literally nothing .When I mentioned this after we left to the owner I was told that this had been checked when I left and it was all okay a complete lie as I had taken videos and photos of the bath and other things. At this point we wanted to leave but we had both had two large glasses of wine each so thought we better not. Then the noise started it says its a quiet private retreat however please be aware they live above you can hear everything ! The breakfast the next morning was cold we saw them bring the trolley so it wasn't left waiting for us outside our room no reason it should of arrived cold it tasted okay but however there was mould inside the little glass milk bottles it put me off everything else. We spilt a little orange juice on the table cloth therefore moved it off the table to discover the state that the table was in underneath like the top had been taken off and it was dirty old chipboard not to mention the dirty curtains and the dirty throw on the sofa. We then had a luke warm shower with bearly any water pressure we were relieved to be leaving it was so bad I refused to return and when we left I requested a refund as we would not be re booking the original hot tub night at 150. Things just went from bad to worse I was offered drinks vouchers and a x2 Sunday lunches again we declined we never want to return. The communication is shocking 7 different occasions I was told that I would be refunded I rang emailed face book messages and said we had photos etc I was blocked clearly as I had notifications i said i would go over and sit in their restaurant until i was refunded again they lied saying they hadn't blocked me this a common theme with them lying and excuses they even removed my sad faces from their face book posts i didnt comment as i didnt want to jeopardise a refund at that point . They did refund us eventually my advice would be just dont book. I think they are clutching at straws and hoping unspecting guests will continue to book not all of them will request a refund and the ones that do they can get away with not refunding it needs to be seriously upgraded and staff are owner's children I feel sorry for the girls having to deal with all that as I sure when they were processing my refund they were doing another as there was confusion about me details another booking that just says everything.
