Fantastic little site... The beach is reached by quite a steep slope.(not for everyone!) Chalet clean and tidy. The staff were keen and helpful... Not a lot to do for kids but we did go in low season I'm sure it picks up in high season.. but we found plenty to do locally. Just up the road at horsey is a great place to seal watch!!!! Nearby activities: We visited the sealife centre and the hippodrome. Sealife centre quite expensive but by using the Kellogg's 2 for 1 tickets we were able to go for a reasonable price. Also found some money off offered for the hippodrome.... Spreads your money a little further

I'm writing this on my last day of my Sun Savers Holiday and I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. X1 million!!!!! Chalet 93 May 1st 4 nights. Two years ago I stayed with another company, who shall remain nameless, and my then 1 yo and myself was bitten by bed bugs, so I have been dubious about park holidays. I have to say Parkdean Summerfields has restored my faith in them and I will be booking again and returning for a full holiday in a caravan or chalet. I was expecting a lower grade accommodation due to this being a Sun Savers deal but I couldn't be happier with the chalet they gave us. It was very clean, and I can't stress how clean this place is. You know a place is clean if the kettle is clear of lime scale. The bedding was perfectly white and had a clean smell, the beds are devine, soft and perfect after a long day exploring. The kitchen may be small but has everything we needed. Also VERY clean. We really like the set up, having space for the kids to play on the floor while my husband and I sit on the opposing sofa's relaxing. The decor is clean and crist, very well done and tastefully chosen. I have to say the shower is devine too, perfect after our trip to the beach! It's warm at night too, a problem I've had in the past was the coldness of a chalet but this is like a small home, perfect and no need for jumpers. The staff are amazing, so kind, chatty and brilliant at their job. We had an issue on the first day with a bedroom blind, the groundsmen came and fixed it quickly and with a friendly smile. The lady in the arcade was polite and very nice, she engaged with my 3 yo nicely, she says thank your for picking strawberry for her lolly. The only recommendation I would have to improve this chalet is better lighting in the living area, I crochet and found it hard to see. Maybe add a standing lamp for those wanting to do arts or read? I'm not much of a telly person myself so reading and crochet was my evening. Also maybe add another lock on the door, maybe a slide bolt or something similar on the inside of the door. I really can't rate this place enough, thank you all so much for a wonderful experience and exceeding expectations. See you in summer 2024
