Had several problems over the year getting medications using Well pharmacy online - now swapped to Hemsby dispensary. A big thank you to Christine Fryer who was efficient, helpful and friendly, completing the switch in just minutes. 5****

My best friend who had some severe mental health issues is now dead. She was not helped when we tried to see a doctor at this surgery - having been sent a text confirming an appointment with a locum doctor (the only doctor available) and being advised to wear a mask, we showed up on time. We were told to take a seat in the waiting room - we were the only patients there. 50 minutes later - the doctor came out of his office and went behind reception to talk to staff there I asked him when my very poorly friend would be seenhis reply I have no appointments, no one is waiting to see me A member of staff and two other ladies then emerged from the back office and stood with arms crossed over there chests (rather an intimidating pose) and explained a mistake had been made. The appointment should have just been via telephonewhen the request to wear a mask was mentioned the gang leader replied that was a mistake Ill make sure to do something about that. When it was furthermore pointed out to her that the receptionist had checked us in and not mentioned a problem, she replied that was a mistake Ill make sure to do something about that. By this time my friend wanted to go home and kill herself, she was incredibly distressed and crying - the woman (? Practice manager) then said lets all calm down your friend is getting upset!!!! The attitude from these people was without compassion, their only interest was in making sure their rules of engagement were strictly adhered to they had zero concern for my poor sweet friend who was in such obvious distress. The woman said the doctor had to go on an urgent house visit so couldnt see her then.we were trying to get her seen for a further 15 minutes - during this time the doctor did not leave his surgery to go on any urgent home visits. We were just being lied to. This practice showed appalling patient care in fact no patient care whatsoever - if 0 stars were an option that is what they deserve. My friend died one week after this visit to the surgery - I feel her experience there contributed significantly to her death.
