Ordered pizza tonight on their web site and after an hour pizza hadn't been delivered. Called them to find out what was happening with order and told Fat pizza in Hemel Hempstead was permanently shut so order wasn't coming. Why are you still able to place orders and how can they still take your money, which I've got to wait 5 days to be refunded if it's no longer open.

Ordered some pizzas on the website. Called up the number connected to the branch 1:15 hours later to ask what the status of the pizza and was told it would be 15 more minutes. Nearly 2 hours after ordering the pizzas I called up again asking where they were - was told that the branch I ordered from had been shut for a few days due to a leak, so I wouldnt receive the pizzas. So the first person I spoke to was lying over the phone. It did not say anything about a leak on their website. TL:DR - I ordered pizzas but never got them because the branch was shut, but they didnt tell me this before ordering.

We ordered 2 large pizzas at 7.30 and we received an email saying they would arrive by about 8.25. It was a Saturday night so we left them for a little longer, as we appreciated it was going to be a busy evening, and rang them at 8.45 and to ask where the pizzas were. We were answered by a lady, who checked our order and then apologised for our delay and said that the pizzas should be with us within 15 mins. We then waited until 9.15, giving them an extra 15 mins to their ETA, and when the pizzas had still not arrived we rang them back again We were then answered by a man, who informed us that the branch was shut currently because of a water leak and that they werent accepting orders. The lady, who we spoke to on the phone was apparently part of a call centre, had not actually checked our order and instead decided to just give us wrong information. This has meant that 2 hours later, we are having to order elsewhere, we will have to wait 24 hours for a refund and had someone lie to us down the phone rather than giving us the common courtesy of just explaining the situation. It is rare that I have seen this kind of incompetence from a business and I am incredibly disappointed that they didnt say anything on the website about the water leak and instead wasted a large part of our evening through their own shoddy service. We will not be ordering from them again and I am hoping that they take a moment to consider their ordering policies and actually treat their customers with some basic respect, rather than the absolutely appalling service we have received this evening.
