Floor is disgusting for a pharmacy. Replace or least clean it! Always slow service. Staff themselves are friendly.

Excellent service, They coordinate with the Doctors surgery, I receive a text to say my repeat prescription is ready to collect. Brilliant. Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. Sept 2022 - Unfortunately the system has changed. You order your repeat prescriptions from the Doctors surgery website. Boots still contact me via text to say they are ready for collection.

They fail to return phone calls, they are late in completing prescriptions, they offer a service where by they send a text message to inform customers when their prescription is ready..they can offer this service, but doing it is another thing, three out of the last four prescriptions have only been partly completed, resulting in another trip to pick up the remaining medications.Mind you, following a complaint to their head office, they can move pretty quick then.Their reasons for offering such a poor service (From the shop, not their head office)just don't add up.In truth, they are understaffed, they seem not to understand their IT systems and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

These people NEVER answer the phone. They blame BT problems and the phone being "so busy that the battery runs out" (Haven't they heard a plug in phone that does not need batteries?). This has been the excuse for the past two or three years, I am not round the corner so I cannot pop in. I have a 40+ mile round trip to visit them to sort out something that would take 2 minutes on the phone if they didn't take it off the hook. Totally incompetent.

First impression, grubby. Floor was filthy, stained. Staff are unhelpful. An elderly lady (+-90 years old) on her Zimmer frame stood in line in front of me for 15mins. Eventually she was served, but they told her unhelpfully that they did not have her prescription. She explained that she had put it through the Friday before. Conferring in the back, then young blonde assistant in loud voice calls through from the back saying there is nothing they can do - she will have to contact her Drs surgery. The elderly lady shuffles out. I am shocked by the lack of empathy shown by your staff. My turn. I am told there is a national shortage with my one medication, and the other one has to be ordered in. I ask for an alternative to the one, and happy to wait for the other on order. Pharmacist passes message through from the back better for me to try elsewhere for both. I do. Speedway Pharmacy in APLSEY. Clean pharmacy, helpful staff, with "can do" attitude. Both my medications there and available, I leave with both filled and a visit that took no longer than 7 minutes.
