Please read in full, and defo read all reviews before you book an appointment here! I have never had my nails done before so I was excited to take my stepdaughter to diamond touch in Hemel Hempstead to get our nails done. I have to say I found the whole experience pretty awful. For starters, there was no verbal communication whatsoever, only gestures and grunting which is down to a language barrier I believe. The person proceeded to use exactly the same tools that they used on the previous customer without sanitising them, and even filed his own thumb nail before using it on mine! I found this utterly disgusting! I was absolutely shocked at the lack of hygiene in this place, they were also washing up their things from eating lunch in the same sink we are gestured to wash our hands in. They proceeded to Savage, my nails with an electric metal nail file. I asked for leopard print on my ring fingers, to which they said no, we do marble. So I just agreed, and when it came to it, they said no, we do flower. So in essence, I did not get what I asked for in any way. The skin around my nails was absolutely covered in acrylic which took days to get off. Instead of removing the acrylic that was clearly not meant to be all over my skin, they proceeded to paint over it with a very grotty looking bottle of cuticle oil. I have since gone to 2 separate salons to get them removed because I am afraid something bad will happen to my nails due to the lack of hygiene. However, both salons have refused as they have told me what diamond touch have used is not regulated therefore will take hours to remove so I am stuck with these awful nails, and I am really unhappy with the service I received there. It will probably take six months plus for me to get my nails to the condition they were before I let them destroy them. I left the salon nearly 100 out of pocket ( for both mine and my step daughters nails ) I would say avoid this place unless you are so vain that you dont care about the condition of your own nails. The most communication I got out of them was at the end when they asked me to go on Instagram and tag them in the photo.. I do not use Instagram. However, my stepdaughter does and they were all over her like a rash with no further communication towards me, because I was not of used to them. Overall very disappointed about the whole experience to the point where I will literally never ever get my nails done again, I have learnt my lesson. Service: Acrylic nails

Second time coming here, they were very lovely and welcoming. The guy who did my nails was very lovely and made sure that he got the details to the nail (pun intended) would definitely suggest them. In love with my nails. Donna. X

POOR QUALITY NAILS AND RUDE WORKERS, NAILS PEELED OFF IMMEDIATELY, BAD HYGIENE . I went to this shop to get builder gel on my natural nails so I can grow them out. Firstly I asked for a black colour but once I got outside it was blue. Within two days 5 of them had peeled off very very easily. I went back thinking it was a fluke and decided to get them redone. They have now chipped and come off again very easily, which does not usually happen when I get my nails done. Not to mention how rude they were when doing my nails; they made me wait extra long and served people before me despite me making an appointment, they were constantly laughing at me after I made a critique on the nails and were just very aggressively talking to me throughout. Also they made me wash my hands in the same sink I saw them washing dishes in, disgusting hygiene including their own dirty nails. would not recommend!!! Service: Gel manicures
