Booked for an entertainment weekend at Heythrop Park last year, for 2023 before they were open so no reviews to read, that was my mistake,, all the reviews I've read are terrible, both myself and partner are disabled and there are stairs everywhere that we couldn't climb, this is not mentioned on the brochure, the parking is a distance away from the hotel, all in all they don't cater for disabled people, and trying to get through to speak to someone is nightmare no one picks up the phone, I eventually got through to a girl called Wendy who was most helpful and explained everything, i cancelled the holiday, good job I'd taken out insurance so got most of the money i back in vouchers, not what I wanted but it will do, I'll try and find some where better, the morrel of the story is, if you are disabled don't book Heythrop Park

A break (literally) in September being a ruptured Achillies tendon which was sustained on the premises, checked by Cricket St Thomas First Aider, beyond his ability so told to attend Chard Minor Injuries Unit, no offer of help or transport, and after returning from the MIU to reception on crutches advising due to this injury, I would have to leave early to attend my local A&E as it would necessitate long term care, the receptionist responded without any care or sympathy stating " I will make up your account", My room being on the upper floor without a lift, you would expect an offer of help with the luggage to my car........... no nothing!! All emails letters etc of complaint ignored, even a recorded letter to the MD. The Warners Customer Care is a misnomer it is obvious they don't care.
