VIDEO APPEARING SOON. Visiting Hollywood Woodside Park with grandparents and 2 young children (4 and 6 months) for mothers days. Digusting treatment by staff and the manager (Dom and Emma) , shouting in front of the kids very aggressively to get off, who switched off the lane after 30 minutes for one game. The lane was serviced for twenty minutes as it was broken and we had been early for our slot. There was no warning or customer service. We were literally kicked off the lane. Unable to finish food or drink. My daughter was distraught. My grandparents and wife were really upset. There was no apology. Told we had taken too long and people were waiting and then the manager walked off.

I had attempted to buy 2 games for 3 people at the Hollywood Bowl in Sheffield, online. I did not receive a confirmation email but the payment went through, unless I have a friend named "Hollywood Bowl" that I didn't know about, who I decided to send money to at exactly the same time. But, I assumed that Hollywood Bowl would have the booking registered on their system, nonetheless. When I got to Hollywood Bowl in Sheffield, I explained the situation to receptionist (Hollywood Bowl Sheffield is under-staffed, but the staff they do have are very friendly). She asked me to call the customer service number at Hemel Hempstead. I did so. I explained the situation to the person at Hemel Hempstead. He searched for my booking, couldn't find it and his first instinct was to accuse me of trying to get a free bowling session, claiming that it was "strange" that the booking was not on the system even though I had claimed to have made the purchase, and then he went silent as if to interrogate me and insinuate that I was trying to steal from them. I was expecting him to explain some other solution to the problem, so didn't say anything, apart from maybe "Erm..." He then laughed at me and asked if there was anything else he could help me with. Helping me with the problem I had enquired about would have been a good start. If there was nothing else he could have done, he should have said so, rather than accusing me and laughing at me.
