Plumtree House Bed and Breakfast

Maureen was the greatest host. We turned up soaked to the skin after abadoning our bike ride at Cartmel and arriving by taxi. Our amazing host took all our wet clothes and had them perfectly dry for the next day. Not only that but after a perfect stay and wonderful breakfast she drove us all the way back to Cartmel to continue our ride. We couldn't have asked for more.

Lovely old house 1862, in a gorgeous village with a fantastic pub The breakfast was delicious and the homemade bread and granola were a lovely touch Maureen was very friendly The only downside for me, which is due to my own personal taste, is the house is very old-fashioned and I prefer modern bathroom facilities I cant say the property needs updating as this would not be in keeping with the age of the house and I would definitely stay there again
