A lot of reviews rave about this place but all I can think is it must be from friends. The food was nearly OK, but to be honest if I'm paying good money then I expect the food to be at least as good as I can cook it and I'm no chef. The food arrived that hot it couldn't be eaten for several minutes which of course meant everything was dried out. We did our best to eat it and gave feedback at the end of the meal saying how the chips especially were very dry. This was immediately met with a if you don't tell us we can't fix it response. We didn't ask for it to be fixed as that just buggers up the whole evening. The fact is it's not our job to complain its for them to serve good food. As for the room 95 and no TV to watch unless you like Ramadam fund raisers, oh and the TV sits at a sloping angle? Come on its 2023. Also the room doesn't look like it's been dusted this year. The hot water is that hot you can't actually use it in the sink without getting burnt, just ridiculous. The list could go on to be honest but don't want to waste anymore of my time. Very disappointed and don't recommend

Wouldnt go back. Food was nice service great. All ruined by the miserable owner shouting from his window. Complete disgrace Lets get it right. You didnt point it out did you! You barked from your window like a dog. There is a way to communicate with people. Also a complete stranger who I never met was having a pint in your outside area and confirmed to me you are the problem and why his family doesnt eat at your pub.

Rooms: The rooms are well appointed and clearly recently furbished. Beds were soft and the walls thick enough to provide solid soundproofing. A well stocked selection of teas and filter coffee were available along with hot chocolate and sparkling water in the mini bar. Shower was the open dropped floor type which had good pressure and quick warm water. Parking: Very small car park but there is nearby parking on the street.
