        A beautiful little shop tucked a little away from the main path but definitely worth a visit - look for the big carved bear with a sign around his neck! Lots of unusual gifts and a great price range too!

        We have just visited this shop but sadly didn't find anything we wanted to buy. We felt fairly insulted when the lady in the shop came and stood by the door as we were leaving, as though we were shop lifters or something! It is only my second trip out in ages due to lockdown and although a bit shaky had been enjoying browsing round the little shops in Helmsley. This totally spoilt what had been a lovely afternoon. As retired teachers we are hardly going to be leaving without paying - especially when we would have loved to have bought something, had there been anything worth buying!
