Stayed for 2 nights with our dog. It's a lovely old building overlooking the market place with its own car park at the rear up a lane at the side of the building. The bedroom was large and clean with all the usual facilities and the bathroom was good. The public areas are full of character with wooden beams and traditional furniture. There is a lovely beer garden at the back. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Evening meal was very good and reasonably priced. The full english breakfast was nicely prepared and presented but a bit meagre (only one rasher of bacon). However overall it was an enjoyable stay in a good hotel and I would stay there again.
