Very helpful and accommodating. Located near a former railway track that is now a nature trail called the cuckoo trail. This connects easily with nearby Horam and Heathfield. I was camping solo to visit Rudyard Kipling's house at nearby Burwash. Fires allowed on site, good atmosphere and facilities clean and in good order.

Nice place to camp. Very friendly people. Tiolet and washing facilities are kept nice and clean, they are basic but perfect. As far as I saw there are two openfields to camp. There is option to put the tent up in the shade of the trees, which I love. From the campside you can walk the cuckoo trail the campsite is about 1/3 down the trail if you start at the north. The trail is 14 miles long. It used to be a railway until it was shut down in 1960.

A lovely campsite! Only our second time camping with our kids and we all had a great time. The facilities were all clean and practical, showers nice and hot, and fire pits available for use which was handy too. We unfortunately had to leave a night early due to illness (nothing to do with the site!) and they were very understanding and very helpful, really lovely people. Thank you for a great stay, we'll definitely be back!
