Fontmills House Bed and Breakfast

A very quaint B&B with a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome. We had a large double bedroom with attached lounge and en suite shower room. All bedding, towels are provided, a mini fridge with milk and water, and tea, coffee etc is in the attached lounge. There is a traditional breakfast served alongside strawberries and cereals at a time suited to your needs. Fresh eggs from the farm next door as well. We used the B&B as a location for accessing the Cuckoo Trail which can accessed through the bottom of the campsite next door. This is great for cyclists, walkers, dog walking and runners etc. Hailsham to the south is a 15 mins drive. A lovely village with plenty of restaurants and takeaways. There is a golf course just up the road from the B&B and 15 mins to the north is Horam with fishing lakes.

Beautiful setting, the house is lovely, my room has a view of fields & hills, very serene. The room is large & comfortable with a seating area where you can put your feet up & relax after a good day of hiking about...the Cuckoo trail is at bottom of the property. Jan, the owner, is lovely & helpful suggesting very nice eating establishments. Her breakfasts are delicious! My American expectation of an English countryside b&b was completely fulfilled at Fontmills House B&B.
