Golf at Hellidon Lakes Hotel

Played 18 holes today and im afraid i would not recommend this course to anyone at the current green fee rate (35). The only positives i could find were: +Great views. +challenging greens. +friendly pro shop staff. Main reasons why i would not recommend: -outside of the greens, the rest of the course was poorly kept; tee boxes in poor condition, large stones in bunkers, fairway and fringes not cut and where they were grass clippings were not collected. -green fees over priced as are the buggies (also 35, which are need if you struggle walking up steep inclines) -price of the food and drink in the hotel also overpriced and the service was poor.

Millionaires golf on a Saturday. It's challenging but fair. Interesting greens. Deserves to have more people playing.
