        Purchased another 3 hens to replace ones that are no longer with us. Exellent advice on integrating the new girls with our one remaining hen. Nice natured p.o.l girls hopefully settling into their new home.

        My daughter and I attended the chicken course on 22OCT22, and found it very informative, a worthwhile course prior to owning chickens. We went on to purchase 3 point of lay chickens, the starter kit and additional items (dust bath ect). It's been two weeks since getting the girls, and we are in love. We've had two eggs a day, lots of strokes and laughs. We feel confident that if any issues arise we will have support from Durham Hens to help the girls. Thank you Alec for setting us up on this journey of hen keeping. We look forward to extending our flock!

        I just felt I had to counter react to a negative review on the subject of hatching eggs, I keep hens I usually get a broody hen each summer last summer 2001 I purchased 6 hatching eggs and got 6 chicks ,,this summer I did the same and got 5 chicks overall just 1 dud out of 12 to me that is excellent, I also received the eggs in next day post,, hopefully will get a broody hen next summer and will be doing the same again
