        I use Hedgeley Services, Powburn, for both fuel and groceries. It is amazing what this shop stocks. Prices are reasonable, competitive and the quality of produce is high. They stock the best local potatoes for example. Moreover, there is a decent selection of newspapers and magazines, provisions such as batteries, essential items for the car, pet foods, stationery and even the Post Office (separate hours apply). It's a great local shop.
