When I dropped the car-off, I pointed-out that there were two problems:
The drivers-side windscreen washer is not working
The Boot release system is not working
When I came to collected my car later that day, I was told that they had corrected the windscreen washer problem by replacing the washer motor under warranty but there was a 62.50 charge for investigating the cause of the problem. I objected to this and I was told that the problem needed to be properly diagnosed and that this was not covered by warranty. So I reluctantly paid. I have just gone to use my washer this morning and found that the washer still does not work. So their diagnosis was incorrect and they that have replaced the motor for no reason and I still have the problem!
They then told me that they could not find a problem with the boot release and that there was nothing more that could be done. So I returned to my car and tried to open the boot; but it would not open. So I went back in and told them and demonstrated the problem. They then agreed that there is a problem and I would need to come back later to have it fixed.
I simply do not have time to return the car at the moment to have this dealt with (although they did offer a courtesy car free of charge). So this will be very inconvenient for me.
Can you please let me know what you will do to resolve this issue?
