I purchased a Dimplex opti-myst electric stove which didn't work. neither did the second or third. I contacted the company on the only number that I could find and talked to their service department five times. The issue was resolved when they sent me a new part. I must say I was quite pleased until a got the phone bill for 34.42. Up till now I have not been offered a full refund. After writing to CEO Sean O'Driscoll have now received vouchers for 50.00.

My Dimplex fire stopped working for no apparent reason whilst under warranty. The supplier Argos were out of stock. GDC customer services were outstandingly helpful and a brand new updated unit was delivered to my door free of charge and exchanged and uplifted on the spot (although the courier was somewhat confused :-) ) exactly as promissed and without prevarication or usual guff. Outstanding service from which many companies could learn a great deal. Thanks GDC. Excellent.

I'm really impressed with the staff at GDC Group, especially those that deal with Valor fires. The people I have spoken to are always cheerful, professional and offer good advice, going out of their way to identify parts, and always communicating effectively with the customer.
