I agree with the negative comments for Crayfern. We bought our house from them six years ago. The house was full of snags that were never resolved. The standard of finishing is appalling with a "that'll do" attitude all the way through. Their groundwork contractor is particularly bad. Our driveway sank. It was fixed once by their contractor before they left site but has sunk again. I am getting it fixed at my own expense as I type as I know there is absolutely no point in pursuing Crafern who don't care or even the NHCP who are absolutely toothless. My builder has just lifted the driveway and manhole cover that have moved... We have found that the underlying problem was there is absolutely no compaction by the groundwork team and the manhole was simply lais over the hole with no concrete/ cement support which they all need. Absolute cowboys.

Where to start. Me and my partner brought a house from Crayfern homes in June 2022 but whilst doing so they merged into Elivia Homes. Now the house has great layout and location and lovely interior but you need to get pass all the snags. We had over 200 snags on our list and I will say some were rather silly and shouldnt of been on there but Im now 5 months in the property and they still havent been all been done, we have banging noise in the wind our back doors whistle and leak and now have stained our plasterboard. I have called and emailed customer services over 20 times and all that happens is you get ignored. They have no interest in helping you once they have your money, on the development I know about 5 other houses all experiencing the same trouble. Im my opinion when you buy your first home you would think it would be a happy enjoyable experience but because of Elivia Homes it has been far from that, I would never buy from this developer ever again, which is a shame as the house design is great, but the after care is an absolute joke, they pushed for earlier completion as well, maybe if they had actually checked the house I might not have some many issues. Still waiting on a reply as are many on this development are, hence the reason for 1 star.

This developer is also Vanderbilt Homes's sister company which is a liar because their brochure, their website and Rightmove's all show that my property with two parking spaces. Their salesperson and Roman agent assured me that I have two parking spaces on the property. Bought this property under misguided circumstances only to find out that I only had one parking space, this matter has been pursued for a year and still not fully resolved, I was disappointed by their rude demeanourand behavior and conduct. I cannot imagine that such a large company would use fraudulent means to obtain the buyer's property.
