Kat worked very patiently with us from the start to make sure we got the wedding cake we wanted. My husband and I met through kayaking and enjoy a number of shared outdoor activities and we wanted this to be reflected somehow in our wedding cake. In the end we settled for a three tier silhouette cake with each layer reflecting how our interests/activities developed through our relationship, which looked stunning! I highly recommend the red velvet with white chocolate and raspberry buttercream if you have a sweet tooth like we do! Everyone absolutely loved the cake, and I can confirm it tasted as good as it looked! We honestly can't recommend the black rat cakery enough!

Wow! What a cake maker. Not only did the cake look good but the red velvet cake was amazing and went down a treat. If you're looking for a occasion cake then check 'The Black Rat Cakery' out, you won't be disappointed.

I set a bit of a challenge asking for a cake as a platform Dr Marten and I wasn't disappointed! The cake looked amazing with so much detail and it tasted amazing too. Thank you so much
