I am really thankful to Chris and his team to rescue me when i couldnot find people to refurbish my house. He Did almost every little and big job and got my house ready to move in. Chris is also a great project manager and knows how to manage his team. He has a lot and lots of knowlege about building industry and Yes, when others let you down, remember him, He will be the one to save and fix your problems. He is very kind and generous. He now has a team and he manages them well, He also shows/ trains and makes sure the work is done perfectly, Things are aligned properly and checks that things are done to a high standard. Everyone makes mistakes but then we all learn and improve. He is the most kindest and a great builder. I can always count on him. Once again Thank you Chris and Dayle for your help. Services: Plumbing fixture installation, Drywall repair, Repair water fixtures, Remodeling

This man is a terrible builder . He will wreck your home. He will offer a cheap quote then come in and work so slowly and take so long that the job will never ever come in on price - he will ask for money all the time - he will bring some tools that he hires and pretend to be working - every other review you read is absolutely true - you will eventually ask him to leave with the job unfinished. He does not have a permanent labourer - they leave as I dont think he pays them. He will not tidy up - throws rubbish onto your garden - do not allow him to get a grab lorry get skips instead - your drive will be permanently damaged if he uses a grab lorry. Be warned when he leaves he gets another builder to suddenly contact you and offer to finish the job for the amount you havent paid him .. it is a con do not employ this man either.

Chris is a terrible builder... We employed Chris and his son Dan to build an extension for us and work started in January 2016. He quoted 18 weeks to do the work. After 35 weeks (and having missed 4 assured completion dates) we sacked him from the job as he had reached our absolute deadline. None of the work he did was worth shouting about. Quite a bit was below standard, and a significant amount was very poor (particularly plastering). Of the many problems we had, the ones that stand out are: Dan cocking up when laying the screed, joking and admitting that it was his fault, but not offering any apology or offering to sort it out. Putting coving up once I had painted the walls. It fell down 2 days later. "You shouldn't put it up over paint" he told me... Cutting in to the central heating (using a freeze kit): "Chris, should we wait for 5 mins as it says on the can?" I asked "No, it freezes almost immediately"... He cuts into the central heating pipe... water goes everywhere... "well, I've never known that happen" he said, with genuine surprise. After 5 mins with his finger over the pipe, it has frozen. We come to cut the next pipe... he doesn't wait. Water pours out. "Well' I've never known that happen", he says, I assure you, with genuine surprise. Putting a window which was much too big into the new 1st floor bedroom. It was so oversized that we can't have any fascia board or proper guttering above the window; it goes up to the eaves. His 'solution' to this involved balancing some micro guttering above the window, but damaging the felt in the process so that the water dribbles down in front of the window when it rains... still to be sorted. Email me for more priceless anecdotes. Unfortunately for Chris he declared bankrupt late in 2015. Unfortunately for me, this meant that when he said, "I have no cash" (e.g. to remedy Dan's floor cockup), he meant it. So, whilst I don't believe Chris or Dan are bad people (Hitler was a bad person), they are terrible builders. They work unbelievably slowly, work very short days and the quality of their work is really very bad indeed. Oh and they are very, very messy (forget common practices like taking shoes off when walking through our house). I wish could say something positive about them, but I still have a mountain of rubble on what was my front garden, assorted building waste to get rid of, and what remains of a tarmac drive (it's so muddy I don't know what state it is in underneath - probably best that way). I wish him and Dan well in whatever they decide to pursue in the future, but I can only recommend that you never, ever employ them to do any building work (big or small). P.S. They may be trading under DMM Builders
