        Just a quick overnighter for us while walking Hadrians Wall, but was absolutely charmed by the country hospitality at Iron Sign B&B. Owen was a fantastic host, dropping us to our dinner at The Swan in town, cooking a delicious breakfast and letting my partner feed one of the lambs before we left in the morning. Enjoying the chats we had with Owen about the area and his life - and to be honest would loved to have stayed longer.

        Stopped here for a night while walking the Hadrians Wall Trail as it is directly on the route. Owen was a fantastic host and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Rooms were great, well furnished and comfortable. His full English in the morning was delicious! Cant thank him enough. Would recommend this B&B for anyone walking the trail.
