great food and great service as always. the Spanish omelette was delicious along with their house tea. they even do their own coffee house blend which is so flavourful. would definitely recommend!!

Really love a good brunch and have always had to travel to Layne's in Leeds but I've found this gem in Heckmondwike! Beautiful authentic dishes and fabulous coffee. Found myself a new favourite and I'll definitely be coming again!

Can't understand the 2 stars review below, this is most definitely a 5 star from us! Went yesterday morning for breakfast with my husband and we throughly enjoyed every mouthful! On entering we both thought it was such a cute and cosy little spot. Wanted to try everything on the menu as it all sounded so tasty but settled on a Strada Special for me and a Turkish special for my husband. Great twist on a traditional breakfast, with a spicy kick. The owner/chef was really hospitable and you can tell he's really passionate about his food. I mentioned that i had made shakshuka the day before at home and wouldn't want that again, the owner said i hadn't tried their shakshuka and that would be a different taste experience, how right he was! When our food came that we had ordered he added a pot of shakshuka for us to try and hands down, the best shakshuka I've ever had, so rich and deep in flavour, it put mine to shame! We've tried a lot of breakfast places in Yorkshire, Manchester and London and this is up there as one of the best. Highly recommend, don't hesitate to visit this little gem. Will definitely be back!
