I have just stopped here, part way through a very long journey. I needed a snack, stretch legs, visit the toilet and pick up a few bits for my SC holiday in Norfolk. I entered the shop and asked where the toilet was the comment was "It's only for customers" in rather a harsh tone. I said I am a customer and she said it's not for the public( I definitely got the impression she didn't believe me). I explained I fully intended to buy food and she said, " You buy the food first and then you get the code". I selected a few bits and spent 13...as I needed the toilet I couldn't browse as intended. I got my code, which was on the receipt and asked the lady at the till if I could leave my bag with her as I didn't want to take food into the toilets with me. The toilets were excellent. I left the toilets and picked up my bag. I was still feeling a bit hurt by the seeming inference that I wasn't going to buy anything and having to prove it. In frustration and embarrassment at not being believed I decided not to purchase anything else...some of the lovely looking meat, a drink or anything to eat and left the premises. I have just looked in the bag and discovered that an item I had purchased is missing!!! Just adds insult to injury, clearly somebody helped themselves whilst I was in the toilet. I don't think I will be stopping here on my way home. I have given 3 * due to the lovely toilets and the beautiful looking food...but customer service!!! I do understand they don't want lots of people using the toilet but it's on a main road, not a shopping centre, and most of the people probably stop for a refreshment break and would, in addition, buy some of the lovely produce, so surely not a problem. Perhaps having a code but giving it out to anybody who asked would be a good compromise. I hope this is taken in the way it is meant...not a rant just a description of what happened and how it made me feel. Update - thank you for your response. I will be interested to hear if anything is seen on the CCTV. It was the lemon drizzle shortbread that was missing. I must admit I was surprised that it seemed that I was expected to take food into the toilets with me.

What a find! Were in Boston for 3 days, each morning weve visited this place for a breakfast bap. The staff are super friendly and the food is hot and fresh - our doggies also enjoyed the sausages :) We actually went into the farm shop to get some dinner stuff as well and the yellow belly pork is an absolute must! Highly recommend!
