        Lovely little place. IMHO ideal for those who need a cosy place to freshen up, crash out and use as a perfect jumping pad for the rest of Northumberland. Super close to the A1 and amenities if needed. Jane the host is as welcoming as ever. Has all the kitchen utensils to cook your own meals if you like, and our cottage came with a fully working oven, midi fridge freezer and microwave. Recent upgrade to the Internet provides decent download and upload speeds for those who need to relax to their fav streaming service, I've even had to join an interview session via Teams without a problem. Everything is pretty clean and well dusted down so well done to the team on that one. Nice large shared front garden if you have any doggies. Only niggle is how thin some of the walls are in being able to hear your neighbours as they crash around cooking and putting the telly on. But overall, still giving it 5 stars, a recommended for the price.
