The Remedy Wine Merchants

Really loved it here. We enjoyed the flights of wine and would definitely have tried one of the cheese boxes had we not already booked an evening meal elsewhere.

Lovely wine unfortunately the member of staff who served me, didn't like wine for one which is unhelpful especially when serving taster wines, how can they offer any expertise when they dont drink what they sell? I found them quite abrupt and rude.

What's happened to this wonderful place ??? It used to be our favourite stop off in Hebden Bridge when we came over!! The new owner was drunk behind the bar , Music was loud ,Staff are ignorant with Zero product knowledge , we gave it two chances over the past few weeks. The original Sommelier / Owner is definitely missed. We wont be coming back :( far better places to frequent in Hebden Bridge. Very disappointed

The concept is good let down by rude miserable staff. The younger lady that served us didnt crack a smile the entire time we were there and was very blunt. Bought a bottle of wine and asked to fill 3 glasses. She dumped the bottle down in a pour it yourself fashion and the look on her face was as if wed just insulted her. I feel Some customer service training would benefit and Im not a moaning member Of the public. Ive been public facing for years. Your staff attitude and demeanour can make all the difference. It spoiled the experience

I always pop in here for a bottle when we visit Hebden Bridge and always recieve great service. I'm not a wine connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, but always seem to come away with the perfect bottle! This time the staff recommended the balsamic pickled onions from Goo (cheese shop round the corner) which turned out to be a perfect suggestion! Thank you guys for another lovely visit and one day we'll stop for a drink instead of dashing off!
