Located in the centre of Hebdon Bridge it is a popular centre of activity for relaxing by the river as well as a tourist attraction and a convenient predestination crossing.         12/08/22: Hebden Old Bridge, erected circa AD 1510. Replaced a medieval bridge built from timber. Many repairs were necessary in AD 1602 and again in AD 1657. The parapet was repaired in AD 1845 and raised higher in AD 1890. The eastern arch of the bridge spans the tail-goit of Bridge Mill, originally the manorial corn mill of Wadsworth.
