15 years ago, hundreds of Scouts came to the garden from the nearby World Scout Jamboree in Hylands Park Chelmsford. Scouts from all over the world. The park was severely overgrown and over 8 days the Scouts cut down the brambles, nettles, trees and other stuff, refound the potting shed and cleared every bit of land there. The Council weren't interested in the place till we did the work. Every Scout that attended left a handprint on a wall, I hope they are still there!? If anyone knows Lois Amos, please ask her to get in touch with me. We made such a difference all those years ago.

Lovely walled Garden to appreciate nature and relax. It's only open on Tues and Thursdays. Worth visiting. Hidden gem.
