AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I would give them NO starts if possible. Budget Avis Heathrow should be ashamed of themselves! We booked a car in Australia with staff discount (long time employee here in Australia) for our trip around the UK. Gentleman on desk at Heathrow said he would UPGRADE our car for us as we added extra insurance options. We later found out WE paid for this kind upgrade gesture and then spent the majority of our holiday trying to sort it out by ringing the airport and customer service only to be met with rude and unhelpful people. So our 1,900 pound rental ended up being 2,700 pound!!!! The ladies outside in the car pick up and drop off are so rude, abrupt and not friendly at all. When we dropped the car back we tried to sort out our issue again, but got told after 15 days they can't do anything even though we tried to sort it out over that whole time. We asked to speak with the manager but he was too busy sitting in his office to come out and we couldn't wait for him as we would miss our flight check-in. The only positive experience we had with Budget Avis at Heathrow was both of the courtesy bus drivers they are the only saving grace to this whole ordeal. NEVER again will we use Budget Avis on UK holiday. You really need a lesson in customer service and how NOT TO use Extorsion tactics on unsuspecting travelers. Please be aware that Staff get bonuses/incentives for upgrading and add ons so BE VERY careful before you sign your rental agreements that they haven't added on any of these hidden extras like they did to us. Shame! Shame! Shame! They then respond to the review comment to contact them to sort out after you leave a bad review without leaving any direct contact information.

15th August 2022 -this matter still hasnt been taken care of . I still owe a parking ticket for my rental after I dropped it off in the rental park park . No response at all from customer service or management 3rd oct - still not taking care of .. not me driving the car . Plus the location is the parking lots of budget Terrible . They have changed location to : Holiday Inn Htrw 276 Bath Road, I got charged with a parking ticket 100 for bringing my car back to their office . On top when I got details of the ticket it was a budget/Avis employee driving not me . I live in the USA . I had to call the office location $120 for the call ( on hold for over an hour) . My credit card was also charged when budget was asked by parkingeye who was driving the hire car. There is a free to look up who the hire car was hired by ( ticket was from 12.55pm -1.39pm after employee drove off with car he stamped that the hire ended at 1pm ) . You can see from the photo that only 1 person is in the car . I only drove with my husband So in total 20 from budget for them to give parkingeye the wrong name . 100 for a phone call to try to fix budgets error 100 parking ticket at their office address with their employee driving This is all from 11th April , its 6th July now and STILL budget/Avis havent fixed their error .Still no response 5 days after I emailed the owner directly 12th July
