Far cheaper and nicer than all the airport hotels. A charming cosy place with nice wine and decent beer. They do lovely fish and chips for 12.

So-so value; terrible atmosphere. There's a sign inside the door that says "Wait here to be seated", so we waited, and waited... and waited. Staff were passing us but nobody stopped to seat us. Finally, we asked the bartender, who found us a table and advised us to come back to the bar with our table number to place our order, which was fine. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were short-staffed, because the 2 wait staff we saw looked like they were running everywhere. However, the restaurant area was FAR too hot. It was 15C outside and must have been at least 23 or 24 in the restaurant. We were literally sweating as we waited for our food. Added to that, there is no wi-fi, which is fine if you're local and can use 4G or 5G, but this pub is right next to Heathrow. It gave the impression that they wanted us to eat quick and get out. Our food was okay, but not anything special. I had the beyond burger, which came with 3 onion rings and chips. The rings were very good, the chips were over-salted, and the burger wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese (dairy cheese, not vegan). The staff were fairly pleasant considering how busy they were, but I wouldn't recommend this place based on our experience.
