        Either unethical or lackadaisical, I suspect the latter. Items are marked clearly and explicitly as 3-for-2, but when it doesn't ring up as such they just shrug the shoulders and refuse to honour their promotion.

        They sell liquids over 100ml and don't offer duty free receipts so you then get them confiscated during transit. When this happened to me and I raised a complaint after the event, they told me that this was my fault, as if I understood duty free rules better than the owners of a shop who operate in an airport. I used to buy a lot from WH smith. I will not be shopping with them again.
