Green Motion Car Rental London Heathrow Airport

Thought I'd post my own review as the ones I read before hiring made me a little nervous! The location isn't ideal - I think there are private direct shuttles but I wasn't informed about any, so to get to and from the airport it's 2 buses each way (20-30mins total). Side note - download the app 'Citymapper' to get helpful step by step instructions for public transport around London. You just use a card to tag on as you get on the bus or tube. There was a bit of a queue on arrival and the counter staff I dealt with seemed very disinterested (which I didn't mind, as I didn't want to be pushed to upgrade). I bought the cheapest vehicle class and it was in good condition and had bluetooth etc. Returning the car was a breeze, other than slightly unclear signage about where to drop the vehicle off. I had taken a video of the car condition after seeing other reviews, but they just did a 10 second walk around of the car before I was good to go. Would happily hire again given the pricing and easy process.

The car we received has damage all around which we filmed and photographed before leaving. We were very annoyed and cannot recommend either Green Motion or VIP Cars. We are curious how we will get to the airport when returning the car. Terrible car hire. Shuttle bus doesn't run outside of hours. Drop off before 0630. No shuttle to airport. Cab cost an additional 16 pounds. Cheaper to hire from established car hire companies when all additional costs included.
