Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport

It has what you'd come to expect from Hyatt Place. Clean comfortable spacious rooms with quality materials, from pillows to mattresses to shower mixers, etc. Very quiet inside the room and the blinds were good. Not much of a view, but still a large window to let natural light in. A convenient parking available on premise for 15. There are dining options and rooms service food. The only surprise is that the breakfast is not included, which was not the case at the many Hyatt Place I stayed at before (though all were in the US). Anyway, the breakfast is for 20. I wouldn't say the hotel is new or luxurious but it is a good value for the price I paid.

This hotel is located very close to the airport and has some parking below with easy access for drop off and pick up. The car park is below the hotel if you stay is only 7:50 a night although the sign say 15 for the day. It's built and furnished as you would expect a Hyatt to be in the very corporate manner the same as many others in other locations. Most of the rooms are of standard format with a huge double bed, a chez long, there an open front wardrobe a small desk area tea coffee, mini fridge and room safe. There's a huge TV in the wall a telephone and lots of sockets, unusual these days no usb charging points. The bathroom has a bath shower basin and toilet with the normal free bottles of shower gel and hair gel. Nice big bath towels hand towels and flannels. There were extra towels in the cupboard but no extra pillows only four provided. The lights need you card inserted to work which is located in the Aircon controls, the Aircon was very quiet, as are the rooms considering how close it is to the airport. There a large seating area around the bar, reasonable selection of drinks at London prices, if you want water bring your own or ask for a pint glass of ice water as it is 2 for a 500 ml bottle or 4.50 for a large bottle, you can eat at the bar from the menu. The restaurant has a reasonable selection of food you can have both the bar or the restaurant menu in the restaurant, the portions are quite small for the price charged the meals we had were ok if you don't like sauces on everything tell them when ordering as everything came with additions. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold food with hot drinks and a selection of cold drinks, fresh fruit is laid out for guests to take.
