Had the limited edition Easter afternoon tea. Seated straight away, tea brought quickly, and all the staff were really friendly. Sandwiches were excellent, and a good selection. We had chicken, egg, cheese, cream cheese (salmon or with cucumber). There were also scotch egg quarters and sausage rolls which were delicious. Also came with some crisps on the side. We loved this section of the afternoon tea. It was the sweet treats that let it down for us. There was a lot of cream in them or were a creamy texture. The cheesecake itself was nice. The filled Easter egg was good too. The brownie was so sweet that you couldn't eat more than a few bites, and after all these things we were feeling sickly so didn't try the donuts. I do think it would have been better with some cake options instead or scones rather than lots of cream cakes.
