        A VERY DISAPPOINTING ANNIVERSARY LUNCH at one of our favourite local eateries, the Fancott Arms, yesterday. Warm welcome and friendly staff as always. I was looking forward to a traditional Sunday lunch. I got two or three slivers of lamb buried under a few veg hidden under a LARGE Yorkshire pudding on top. My starter ... A FEW whitebaite (favourite) on top of some very limp leaves on a large plate with a slide of something on the side I can only call "OOPS". New chef ? Maybe. IF ANYONE LOCAL CAN RECOMMEND other places I would be grateful.
