Came here today with my family to enjoy the woods and grab something to eat as well. Went into the visitor center so we could be seated for something to eat but unfortunately experienced terrible customer service. Was approached by a volunteer who told us that the children weren't allowed to touch the toys that were put out for sale, telling a 3,4 and 6 year old that "it was not a try before you buy." The children were just having a look, picking them up as young kids do and trying to decide which one they wanted with supervision from 2 adults. At no point were they breaking anything or misbehaving, literally just trying to decide with us what one they wanted. He then came back over and stated that he had watched the 4 year old throw one of the toys that he had picked out on the floor and was getting visibly agitated by this. We explained that he was just a child, he did not mean to drop it on the ground, he was just excited as that was the one that we were buying for him. The man tutted and mumbled under his breath at us before we told him that his customer service wasn't very good. We proceeded to pay for the toys that they had, and went about our way. At no point was there a apology to us or the children after he had made us feel uncomfortable for just looking at toys. His colleague looked quite uncomfortable as well, we certainly won't be going back in there anytime soon especially if we have the children and see Sian. The woods however are brilliant, plenty of fairy doors that the children love and trails that keep them entertained for hours. Would 100% recommend the woods!

Lovely park and great to walk around however the cost of parking is a fair amount especially since the app (which is heavily advertised everywhere) didn't actually work leading to a long wait at the ticket machine
